hello and welcome.

I’m

Erica.

Erica Dossa, MSW, LCSW

(pronouns: she/her/hers)

I work with people of all ages, supporting their journey of honest self discovery. My goal is to help you cultivate a deeper understanding of who you are, clarify your goals, and empower you to live with authenticity and purpose.

I have worked as a therapist in a wide range of settings including public and private schools, hospitals, non-profit agencies, jails and detention centers. Most recently I worked at the Lucy Daniels Center for Early Childhood as an Outpatient Therapist and at Duke Hospital in the Mother-Baby Unit, NICU and High Risk Obstetrics Clinic.

My main priority as a therapist is to be of use to my clients. To that end, I draw from many theories including psychodynamic, attachment, family systems, developmental, relational, feminist and experiential. I seek to practice from a place of humility and hold deep respect for each person I see.

I am a naturally curious person who enjoys learning. In session with clients, I tend to be grounded, warm, genuine, interested, humorous and engaged. When I am not working, I enjoy travel, going for walks, collecting rocks and other small treasures and connecting with family and friends.
